2020 AGA Operations Conference & Spring Technical Committee Meetings Goes Virtual
May 18, 2020 @ 8:00 am - May 22, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
This virtual conference will give attendees more flexibility and the capability to attend more sessions than if the conference were held in one physical place. AGA is excited to host their first virtual conference and are thankful for everyone’s flexibility.
Join Mustang Sampling during the 2020 AGA Operations Conference. Mustang Sampling will be presenting on:
Renewable Natural Gas Analysis for Transmission Pipeline Quality Gas:
Renewable natural gas (RNG) from agriculture, landfills, and waste digesters is becoming a larger source of methane for injection into existing natural gas transmission pipelines as a result of stimulus and environmental concern. The analysis of RNG is critical to balance and protect pipeline and consumer infrastructure. This paper examines new techniques and analyzers necessary to analyze RNG at the source including detection of moisture, siloxanes, sulfur, and heavy metals
The Impact of LNG Feedstock Requirements on Natural Gas Pipeline Analysis:
Natural gas used as feedstock for LNG liquefaction must meet more stringent requirements than those defined by interchangeability rules. Compositions are more narrowly defined for plant efficiency and safety. The situation is further complicated by a constantly evolving supply of natural gas, leaving end users more dependent on a broader range of analysis and blending techniques. This paper will detail techniques used successfully to meet tariffs associated with LNG feedstock headers
AGA Operations Conference (May 19-22) Note: 2020 is a Non-Exhibit Year and will be Virtual. The annual AGA Operations Conference is the natural gas industry’s premier gathering of natural gas utility and transmission company operations management from across North America and the world for the sharing of technical knowledge, ideas, and practices to promote the safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of natural gas to the end-user.
