Product Details

The Mustang Composite Grab Sampling System is a waterless sampling system for Natural Gas Liquids (NGL’s) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The system is a flow adjustable composite grab sampling system. The manual and/or auto flow adjustment sample time period is a composite of a predetermined sampling periods instead of a specific point in time. This results in a representative grab sample closer in agreement with other measured results. This process helps to negate the chance of a grab samples being taken during a process upset.

The sampling process is a cycle which begins with evacuating the tubing and sample cylinders throughout the system. As sampling commences, small fixed volumes of gas are captured and pumped into the accumulator. These volumes are adjustable in both size and sample frequency. Once the sampling process is complete, the accumulated volume’s composition is representative of the entire process cycle. The cycle can be repeated by replacing the sample cylinders and beginning the evacuation process.
