Mustang Sampling is proud to announce the return of the Mustang Sampling No. 5 race car to the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup and in partnership with JDC-Miller MotorSports. The No. 5 entry will compete in the premier Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class in the state-of-the-art Porsche 963 LMDh prototype.
The renewed partnership highlights Mustang Sampling’s continued commitment to innovation, performance, and engineering excellence—values shared with JDC-Miller MotorSports and Porsche’s global motorsports program. The Porsche 963 LMDh represents the cutting edge of endurance racing technology, combining advanced hybrid powertrain performance with precision engineering to compete at the highest level of international sports car racing.
Behind the wheel for the 2026 season are the young and talented drivers including Tijmen van der Helm (Netherlands), Nico Pino (Chile), and Kaylen Frederick (USA), who will pilot the Porsche 963 throughout the IMSA campaign. Together, the trio brings an impressive mix of prototype experience and international endurance racing success.

The No. 5 Mustang Sampling Porsche 963 will compete against the world’s leading manufacturers and teams throughout the IMSA season at iconic tracks across North America, including endurance classics such as the, Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America and the final race of the season at Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
