Kevin Warner, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer, will be presenting “The Impact of LNG Export on Conventional Metering and Natural Gas Analysis” at the 2019 AGA Operations Conference & Biennial Exhibition & Spring Committee Meetings in Nashville, TN.
Wednesday, May 1, 2019:
10:45 am – 11:25 am
Ryman Studios F-G
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) export has affected requirements for metering and analysis traditionally associated with gas bound for distribution. Analysis for contaminants harmful to liquefaction facilities, such as Mercury detection, is required, and cryogenic metering is necessary within facilities. This presentation will explore recent changes to common practices in transmission pipeline measurement resulting from LNG export. (Coauthor: K. Thompson, Mustang Sampling)
