Abstract: The composition of Liquified Natural Gas is not strictly defined and can vary considerably from one source to another, and with time. The composition impacts LNG’s behavior as an engine fuel and is typically monitored as total energy. Wobble index, or methane number, all of which can be confusing to understand. This discussion is intended to be an informational session for anyone who wants to lean more about LNG’s characteristics as an engine fuel.
