This sponsorship is a key component to GALP’s continued marketing activation in North America.
GALP’s marketing activation in the North America lends itself well with Mustang Sampling Racing and with IMSA veteran Joao Barbosa, a full-time Portuguese driver for the team. Barbosa’s impressive IMSA career record of 24 wins including four wins at the Rolex 24, blends well with co-driver Sebastien Bourdais a Formula One and IndyCar Series driver who has seen victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Rolex 24. Joining Barbosa and Bourdais for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup will be 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, French driver, Löic Duvall.

The Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona will begin at 1:35 p.m. EST Saturday, January 25, 2020 and will finish on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 1:35 p.m. EST.
