2018 EUROPEAN FLOW MEASUREMENT WORKSHOP

Ken Thompson, President and CEO will be presenting LNG Sampling, Analytically Accurate Practices & Techniques. Global trade of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is expected to more than double within the next ten years and custody transfer methods will be under greater scrutiny than ever. Sampling of LNG as a cryogenic fluid is particularly challenging but critical to the proper monetization of assets between trade partners. This session will focus on lessons learned from the past decade and reinforce the requirements of ISO 8943 and recommendations of the GIIGNL LNG Custody Transfer Handbook. Additional techniques for small scale and LNG Bunkering measurement will be discussed.
The European Flow Measurement Workshop will be in Barcelona, Spain in 2018. It will include all types of custody transfer measurement in addition to ultrasonic meter measurement. You will be able to hear speakers discuss a wide variety of fluid measurement issues and potential solutions.
