The Mustang Certiprobe® sample extractor is designed to be the initial access point for pipeline or pressure vessels in LNG, LPG or other process sampling.

Certiprobe® sample extractors are fabricated to meet the ANSI B31.3-2004 process piping standard and include Nondestructive Examination (NDE) of Positive Material Identification (PMI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) for all welds.

Prior to pipeline installation, a stress analysis is performed for the design using the pipeline conditions of pressure, temperature, flow velocity, and the process fluid’s physical parameters.

The Mustang Intelligent Vaporizer Sampling System® (Model 1) is a technology designed to vaporize liquid providing a fresh sample to
a continuous online analyzer.

This system is designed with enhanced sample quality, through controlled vaporization and remixing, accomplished through 4 stages.  In order for the analyzer to meet it’s stated accuracy, the Mustang Intelligent Vaporizer Sampling System® ensures the sample to the analyzer is in a stable composition.

The multipath design (Model 1) achieves redundancy in critical areas such as the loading and unloading of ships.

Mustang® Vacuum Jacketed Tubing prevents pre-vaporization from your LNG sample as it travels to the vaporizing ensuring an Analytically Accurate® sample.

This highly efficient design utilizes multilayered material within a vacuum-sealed space for efficient insulation of the inner liquid transfer line. Non-conductive spacers are utilized for the inner line which reduces heat transfer.

This rigid stainless steel tubing is custom-designed to meet individual project needs for inner pipe size and overall length. Flow and various application requirements are considered with each engineered unit for continuity of quality.

SoftView® Monitor Software

The Mustang Intelligent Vaporizer Soft View® Monitor is a suite of programs to monitor for LNG monitors vaporizer temperature, pressure and flow rates, and their effects on the GC analysis.  All products in the suite include the ability to interface locally and remotely to the wide array of smart Mustang Sampling instrumentation.

Soft View® Monitor allows auto polling of the heater controller and gas chromatograph, user set-point control of the heater and flow controller, monitoring of the GC and heater alarms, and optional customized AI, AO, DI, DO interface to other sensors.

With exporting capabilities, Soft View® Software Monitor develops compatible reports of LNG data for review and analysis with programs such as MS Excel.

Mustang® Composite Sampling System

The Mustang® Composite Sampling System (MCSS) is a continuous waterless type sampling system that provides a representative gas composition sample by taking small bite size samples over a period of time. The MCSS consists of the HMI/SCADA control software and the composite sampling system. Sample pumps, the grab sample cylinders, and the composite sample system are housed within the system. The control station houses the PLC which controls all solenoid valves and indicator lights.

The MCSS grabs a fresh, 0.5 cc, sample every second, storing it in the accumulator for future analysis. Once sampling is complete, the composite sample can be transferred to the portable sample cylinders for lab analysis. The MCSS has three purging options which include an accumulator with an internal bladder, vacuum pump, or venturi vacuum generation. The accumulator is then emptied and the system reset for the next ship.
